Process an approved terminal eftpos payment
Example: Process a terminal payment for $100
Step 1: Create an invoice for $100
Step 2: Create payment using Healthpoint Eftpos.
Step 3: Complete Tyro Health eftpos form and hit Send To Terminal
Step 4: Status completes as approved.
Step 5: Payment applied in SimpleClinic
Process an approved terminal HealthPoint claim with a gap
Example: HealthPoint claim for $201, Pay with terminal for gap - $101
Step 1: Invoice appointment for current date.
Step 2: Click Start HealthPoint Claim and choose either sms or terminal for method. In
this case choose terminal.
Step 3: Click send to Terminal
Step 4: Claim assessed with gap click Accept.
Step 5: On Gap Payment choose Pay via Terminal.
Step 6: Payment completes with one payment via PHI and one via GAP.
Process an approved terminal HealthPoint quote/rebate estimate
Example: HealthPoint quote/rebate estimate for $201
Step 1: Create invoice for 201 with initial consultation.
Step 2: Choose Start Health point Claim by terminal
Step 3: Select View an Estimate / Quote then click Submit
Step 4: Estimate Quote is displayed.
No payment is recorded on invoice.
Declined terminal eftpos payments
Example: Process a terminal payment for $100.01
Step 1: Create an invoice for $100.01
Step 2: Start payment be Healthpoint EFTPOS
Step 3: Click Send to terminal
Step 4: Payment returns as declined.
Step 5: No payment recorded in SimpleClinic and balance still outstanding.
Terminal Errors
Example: Process a terminal payment for $5.00
Step 1: Create an invoice for $5.00
Step 2: Start Health point EFTPOS payment.
Step 3: Click Send to Terminal
Step 4: Unable to submit payment error returned.
Step 5: No payment recorded in SimpleClinic and balance due still outstanding.
