The video and image below shows the Patient List - search and filtering.
The Patient list shows all your patients and contacts.
You can filter by practitioner, this uses the practitioner linked in the information tab of the patient record.
You can also filter by type or status. Inactive means the patient has been archived.
Use the search bar to find patients using their first name, last name, email or phone number. Type in the search field and press enter.
The search will look in all fields, for example if you search for someone’s name, you will also get any email address with that name in it. This helps you find patients using the same email address. You can narrow the search by typing in the first name and last name.
The reset filters button clears the filters so you can see all your patients and start again.
You can also create a new patient using the Add New button.
The checkboxes are used for merging patients, please refer to the knowledge base article first on how to merge correctly.
If you click on the name of the patient or the more actions icon, this opens a sidebar for some quick actions such as editing their details or sending an email or SMS.
Clicking on the arrow takes you to the full patient file.
