You can colour code your appointments.  There are three ways appointments are colour coded in the diary.

Please be aware that colours in the diary are applied based on the following ordering:

  1. Firstly the practitioner colour is used.
  2. Secondly, if a service colour has been applied, this colour will be used.
  3. Lastly, if a status colour has been defined and the appointment matches a status, this colour will be applied.

Firstly, the default is colour coding by the practitioner colour.  This can be accessed / changed from the Employees section, and selecting the Calendar Colour and Calendar Block Colour for each practitioner, using a colour picker. You can use this to change their consultations colour and block colours.

An example of how this colour coding looks is below:

Secondly, you can change the colour of individual services that appear in the diary.  To do this go to Inventory->Services.  Find your service in the list and then click View Service.  From the edit screen, click the colour in the colour picker -> Apply -> Save.

Thirdly, you can choose to colour code based on the appointment status.  You access this from Business Setup -> Your Clinic -> Diary Settings. Under the Diary Settings panel the Calendar Status Colours will allow you to toggle the colour based on the status of the appointment.  Black indicates nothing has been set.

While no status is applied, either the Employee or Service colours will be applied, until such time as the status is updated.
